Mica`s Restaurant & Pub in Sapphire

Great ambience. We enjoyed the covered outside patio on a cool afternoon in June. The food was delicious with a very generous portion cod and tasty collards. The Margaritas are excellent too. I am impressed with our overall experience.

Blackened red fish was delicious! We really enjoyed our time in North Carolina and will be back to visit soon!

Great spot especially in the spring and summer when you can sit outside. Always consistent and a good variety of food. Great spot to go if you have kids.

I just had to Brag on Shannon, my family is up visiting from Florida and our visit to Micas's restaurant was hands down Amazing. The food was delicious and high quality. Our two year old has his heart set on mac and cheese and even though it wasn't on the menu...SHANNON made it happen, Him and our son bonded and even shared a shot ( chocolate milk 🥃😋) at the end of our visit. I cannot reccomend this place enough....everyone was friendly and welcoming!!THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE SHANNON!!🇺🇸

The calzone was fresh, but I didn’t taste any feta. I tasted ricotta. I do not recommend the seafood chowder - it had sausage and no seafood that I could acknowledg. It was thick, brown and tasteless. I’m not sure what that was all about to be honest. The trout and salads were fresh and the service was pleasant although not very attentive. If you don’t enjoy a lot of salt on your food be sure and let them know ahead of time. The deck is heated and comfy.

Good food, large portions, friendly wait staff. Easy in, easy out. Views to woods outside. Lots of paved parking. Porte cochere roof at entrance was nice, because it was raining. I was able to drop off and pick up my wife there so she could stay dry. My wife is vegan and the waiter had the chef custom prepare food for her.

Last Saturday I attended a wedding in the area and the wedding party went to Mica's for dinner afterward. We had a fantastic time and Jacob, our server, was exemplary.We also enjoyed the music and dancing. Thank you for a great time!

A nice casual dining staple in Cashiers! The Greek pizza was just right, and the service was on point. With a large outdoor seating area and live music in the evening, it's a really fun, relaxing evening venue for meeting a group of friends on the weekend, too!

Good food, and very generous portion. The only downside was they were so slow taking care of us. Other got fed who sat down after us and were gone before we even got our food. Our waiter was just very slow, taking 15 minute to take our drink order.

Wonderful food, a great waiter, attentive staff, short wait time and good prices. You can’t beat this place.

Big menus suck and I don’t trust them. This is the exception. The pizza recipe is over a half century old AND arguably the best in WNC, the tenders are hand breaded and wonderful, the French onion soup is heaven, and the service was impeccable, even while understaffed. Will be back! Shout out to Jacob our server and Mark Jones who gave us a very educated introduction to the menu.

We were finally able to make it to Mica's after the storm. Amanda was amazing and the food was great.

Food was good and the pricing was reasonable.

Smelled a little funny but the food was good. The place smells weird. Like mildew maybe. Not sure. But I had the crab bisque and it was pretty good. I've had all kinds if crab bisque and this one was surprisingly delicious. In addition I had the wedge salad. Wow. The mixture of the vinaigrette and blue cheese made for a fantastic taste. I was very pleased. Server was fantastic and food came out quick. We will be back.

Craving a good pizza and we succeeded in finding one at Mica's! Both gluten free and regular options were very tasty and the Greek salad was excellent too and large enough for two people. Our server, Kayla, was the perfect combo of friendly, attentive and professional. We will certainly be back!

Mica's is a really nice restaurant with a warm, cozy atmosphere. The food is awesome and the people are friendly. It's great for travelers also because there is a nice Hampton Inn hotel within walking distance (about 700 feet). I rate it all stars, or both thumbs up, or just a big ole smiley face. Try Mica's - you will not be disappointed!

The food was wonderful and our waitress was the best of the best.

We really liked it. Walked in on a Sunday night while the place was overwhelmed, but they regrouped and seated us. Cocktails were descent and the food was great! Large wine list. Great location!

Food was great, server was great, but the hostesses made you feel like an inconvenience rather than welcome.Hire more professional staff to be the first face of your company. Young and rude, as I sat waiting for a table, I watched multiple customers get the same treatment. She made faces, huffed and puffed and while answering the phones. Simply unprofessional. Visit was July 21st for dinner, so I'm sure you can check your schedule to see who was working

Good lunch spot, friendly service staff. Food was good came pretty quickly. Cozy local spot for a good quick bite. Definitely recommend if in your in Sapphire.

It's ok, in a nothing else is open kind of way. Reminds me of 1994, not in a good way.

Staff was friendly, service was great, and food was delicious. We arrived around lunch time as a party of 8 so service was a little slow getting to us but it was understandable given the size of our group. All the orders came out correctly and the server always had a smile on his face. The outdoor seating was cool and spacious. Would definitely eat here again if we are ever in the area.

Place is a joke general manager curses at yells at staff in the middle of the dining room. I think this is very unprofessional and the owners need to rethink this trashy GM.

Wife and I ate there while on our Honeymoon. Went back there for our 20 year anniversary. The food was awesome both times, as well as the service.

It was four of us and everything was fine. The only one thing that I got the rotten meat in Filet Mignon with awful smell and taste. The waiter was agreed that the meat is rotten but told that he is not responsible for the kitchen food and he is only deliver it, which I think is absolutely right. He deleted the price of it from the final bill, which we asked to do. The surprise for us was that nobody have any excuses for that and nobody came and apologize for that. No manager, nobody from kitchen - no one. Usually in good places somebody coming and at least tell something about that. Also they did not reduce 10% discount from bill which was offered by Diamond resort during reservation. Lucky I have prescription for traveler diarrhea.

We visited with our car club on a busy, fall Sunday. We had a very large group. They did a fabulous job. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the service was terrific 😊. I had a light meal of a delicious french onion soup and a Caesar salad. My hubby enjoyed a BLT piled high with bacon. I heard someone say they had just enjoyed the best fish and chips ever! Many terrific choices. Highly recommend. Great food, great service, great people.

Not a great experience. Although the staff was very polite. The atmosphere was also relaxing. The food...not so much. Ordered an appetizer of potato skins. They just tasted like burnt oven. My fiancé and I ordered the prime rib....for $28....each.... when we got it, they were cold. Not room temperature cold, but just came out the fridge cold. It had a brown pigment to it, unlike the usual pink that you see. We had to ask if that was normal for them and we were told no. They took them back and reheated them in what I assume was a microwave. They were somewhat edible then, aside from the really dark brown meat(not the skin). Very high priced for very low quality food. A $100 meal that should’ve been $30.

Our family loves stopping here. The portions are sizable, great variety and the food is tasty. The prices are fair, the atmosphere is rustic and fantastic. Super outdoor space with a big fireplace and live music. Family friendly.

Friendly staff. Live music in bar area. Food was good but heavily breaded (BBQ shrimp app). I had a wedge salad that was delicious and filling.

Great place for lunch and dinner. We tried every catagory on the menu, and everything was very good. My friends raved about the trout, and another day I had a great Reuben.

After two days of trying to eat here we were unable to. Staff kept telling us it was an hour wait, but there were plenty of empty tables just not cleaned. They didn't even try in the last bit to accommodate us.
